Located in the heart of Chinatown district, within proximity to Chinatown MRT Station + less than 20 minutes’ drive away from Orchard  Road, is the Historical hotel... a red hotel..  THE OPERA HOUSE “LAI CHUN YUEN” HOTEL. It  was once a Chinese Opera Theatre “Lai Chun Yuen” where opera stars from  Hong Kong and China came to perform, where it then turned in to a  cinema in 1900's until it was bombed in World War II. What a history. The  rooms aren't so spacious but it's cozy and you get to experience a hint  of history and art within. The lobby and the corridors are just so cinematic and "RED" you just can't imagine it from the streets. The room rate is quite reasonable too. Perhaps experience it for yourself.

シンガポールの中心、オーチャード・ロードから車で20分のチャイナタウンに位置する「ライ・チュン・ユエン」ホテル。外からは全く想像がつかない「赤い」インテリア。ここ実は、昔チャイニースオペラ劇場だったんです。香港や中国のオペラスターが集まる賑やかなスポットだったそう。その後、第二次世界戦争で建物が空爆にあうまでは映画館でもあったらしい．．お部屋はそこまで広くはないけど、とても落ち着けて、室内からも歴史を感じられる。とにかく「赤い」「映画」の世界に入り込んだようで、レンズをどこに向けても映画のワンシーンのよう。コストもリーズナブルなホテルです。映画の世界にいる気分を味わえる、「ライ・チュン・ユエン」ホテルに是非一泊でもステイしてみては？
