OLD AND THE NEW

On the banks of Toyosawa River in Iwate Prefecture lies an upscale hot spring hotel.. KOKORO NO TOKI, JUSANGATSU. The hotel is an annex to the remote and secluded Fujisan Ryokan, located in Namari Onsen (hot spring with 600 years of history).

温泉としては600年以上、温泉旅館としても230年以上の歴史を誇る、花巻の山懐の一軒宿「藤三旅館」の別邸として建つ『鉛温泉　心の刻　十三月（なまりおんせん　こころのとき　じゅうさんがつ）』。東北新幹線 新花巻駅より30 分の場所に位置する贅沢なくつろぎに満ちた湯宿です。

THE LOUNGE SPACE


2 lounge areas are present within the hotels.. Fuji located in the old Fujisan Ryokan building and the lobby lounge in the newest, with free drinks and live piano performance after dark.

In contrast to the very old Japanese-style Fujisan Ryokan, all 14 guest rooms at Kokoronotoki Jusangatsu are luxury suites with modern designs all different from each other. All rooms face a mountain stream, with open-air onsen baths with natural hot spring water.

十三月の客室は全て60平米以上のスイートルームが清流・豊沢川に臨む、源泉100％かけ流しの露天風呂を備えたラグジュアリースイート。全14室のお部屋がそれぞれ異なるデザインであり、モダン・スタイリッシュを共通のコンセプトとしている。落ち着くアロマティックな香りが特徴のTHANNのアメニティ（シャンプー、コンディショナー、ボディソープ、ボディミルク、固形ソープ）にも癒される。

Authentic Japanese food is offered at semi-private dining rooms fro breakfast and for dinner.

岩手・花巻の選りすぐりの食材を『鉛温泉　心の刻　十三月』ならではの日本料理に仕立てていただける食事。上質なくつろぎに満たされたセミプライベートな空間でいただく、器や盛り付けが目にも美味しいお料理たち。

HOT SPRING

There are 4 unique hot spring baths within the Fujisan Ryokan which could be easily accessed through a single connecting door between the two buildings. From a standing onsen that is 1.25m deep, to a bath beside the river, and an onsen where one could gaze upon a historical waterfall surrounded by lushes of green..  This is surely a place full of adventure and restful experiences.
