HEAVEN ON EARTH

InterContinental Phuket Resort celebrated the official opening of the hotelier’s latest Thai property earlier this year and I was lucky enough to be invited to this breathtaking event. As also written in my article InterContinental Phuket Resort, the hotel is a perfect definition of ‘Heaven on Earth’ - it is a luxury beachfront hideaway featuring 221 elegantly appointed rooms and villas overlooking the Andaman Sea of Phuket.

The opening ceremony was full of surprises, from a fashion show event showcasing the hotel’s new uniform looks to beachfront cocktail gatherings in the afternoon.. By the time the sun beautifully set, an official opening ceremony by the heavenly pavilion took place which was followed by an outdoor garden dinner party amidst the charming villas - the night continued on, moving onto the rooftop of the mountain villa where a captivating view of the heavenly pavilion was in sight as a backdrop to the live band performance - made it a moment to remember.
