Marina Barrage is a fun recreational area just a short walk away from Gardens by the bay. This place is actually a dam in Singapore built at the confluence of five rivers. We took a nice breezy afternoon walk up to the roof top grassed area where the view is stunning, especially in the evening. There are so many parks for kids to enjoy and run around in Singapore, but this place is exceptional.. us adults can enjoy the exposed view of Singapore that unfolds, 360 degrees. Guess who we ran into at the Marina Barrage this day! Prime Minister Lee Hsien Loong of Singapore. He was such a great person, absolutely an honour to meet him.

ゆったりとした時間が流れるマリーナ・バラージュは夕暮時のお散歩や子供が遊ぶのにぴったりな場所。ダムでもあるこの場所は、ガーデン・バイ・ザ・ベイから歩いて１０分程の場所にあります。キッズフレンドリーなシンガポールには公園が沢山あるけど、ここは別世界！広い芝生エリアのルーフ・トップから見渡せる３６０度の景色は大人にとって最高にリフレッシュできるもの。一つと景色を妨げる建物がないから、遠くを見ているだけで心身安らいでいく気分になれる．．この日は、バッタリ、シンガポールの首相、リー・シェンロンと遭遇しちゃいました。とっても腰が低くて優しいジェントルマンでした。息子と握手をしてくれ、甥っ子の赤ちゃんを抱っこしてくれました♡
