表参道のメイン通りにある「生活の木」4階に位置し、外の喧騒が嘘のような静かで穏やかな空間の『アーユルヴェーダサロン アーユシャ』は、「自然」「健康」「楽しさ」を提案するライフスタイルカンパニー「生活の木」が運営する隠れ家サロン。

The guest journey begins with a soothing ‘rose cordial’ drink, followed by a unique Dosha analysis which determines the mind-body type and also the treatment oils to be used. On this day, my body type was determined to be the ‘PITTA’ type, which means that the body is mainly comprised of ‘fire’ elements.

ラウンジにて、ローズコーディアルをいただきながら、ドーシャ（体質）チェックなどのコンサルテーションが行われる。ドーシャチェックは個々の体質に合ったトリートメントオイルを判断してくれるためとても大切。因みにこの日の私のボディは、PITTA（ピッタ）…つまり「火」の要素が多かった。

YAHARATENA treatment goes by the same menu as the ‘Tree of Life Hotel’ in Sri Lanka, which includes scalp & body treatment, the Shirodhara treatment and herbal steam & bath. It is one of AYUSHA’s signature treatment that is designed to engage all the senses, with selected ayurvedic herbal oils and scents. All treatment use traditional massage techniques offering a serene and authentic experience to soothe both body and mind.

スリランカのホテル「トゥリー オブ ライフ」のドクター監修によるメニューを提供してくれるヤハラテナコースは、スリランカ製のシーローダーラポットを使用した本場のシーローダーラとハーバルスチーム＆バスで、心と体の隅々まで開放し、深いリラクセーションをもたらしてくれるトリートメントコース。スカルプケア、全身トリートメント、シーローダーラ、ハーバルスチーム＆バスの順に心地のよいトリートメントが繰り広げられるヤハラテナコースでは、伝統的な処方に基づいた体質別ハーバルオイルを使用。心も体も至福の癒しに満たされ、深いリラクセーションを体験することができる。

Once the treatment ends, a relaxing ‘Herbal steam’ experience awaits. As you lie inside the steam bed, you feel as though all the toxins in the body getting flushed out from the pores.
 Soon after, you transfer your body to the bath tub filled with Ayurvedic herbs, where all you do is relax and watch the green leaves sway comfortably outside.

トリートメント後はハーバルスチームのベッドへ移動。スチームベッドに横たわると、発汗し、身体の循環が良くなったような気分に。その後、アーユルヴェーダハーブを入れたバスでゆったりとした時間を過ごすことができ、バスルームの窓からは表参道ケヤキ並木の緑の葉の揺れが心地よさを増してくれる。

Soothing herbal tea to wrap up the treatment is recommended by the therapist, based on the person’s condition and also the season.
