Time on the island flows to a soothing rhythm from sunrise to sundown. The Spa at HOSHINOYA Taketomi Island offers only the highest level of spa experience that is designed to reset and retune the mind and body to the ‘island time’.

緩やかな時間の流れとともに、心と身体をほどいてくれる心地よい「スパ時間」。島の風土にゆったりと浸り、「島時間」に身と心を委ね、人間本来の体内リズムを取り戻していく。

IN NU FASUN

One of the special treatments at HOSHINOYA Taketomi Island is ‘In Nu Fasun’, which uses ‘seaweed’, one of the most abundant bounties of the sea. The treatment began with the feet cleansing ritual, followed by the Seaweed Back Mask. The heat-producing seaweed mask applied on the back felt cold at first but soon turned warm and I could feel the skin gently moisturized. Legs, Arms, Decollete and the head were massaged but as soon as the treatment commenced, I felt myself drifting into nature and towards the serenity of Taketomi Island, accompanied by beautiful music. Within the treatment room’s quiet space, I was able to feel completely healed, nourished and restored. My mind was able to completely surrender and body receive the gifts of healing, revitalization and clarity through natural ingredients.

海の恵み　（いんぬふぁーすん） 

海の恵みである海藻を使用した、星のや竹富島のスペシャル トリートメント メニュー。健康の宝として重宝されてきた発熱性の海藻パックを背中全体に施すことで身体を温め、肌にも潤いを与えてくれる極上のトリートメントです。鮮やかな花彩る塩水のフットバスで始まる「海の恵み」トリートメント。ベッドに移り、はじめに行われるのが「海藻パック」。パックが背中全体に広がると、すぐにポカポカと温まっていくのを感じられる。心地よく流れるメロディーにエスコートされ、脚、腕、デコルテ、ヘッドと、流れるように続くマッサージに癒され、竹富島の静けさへと導かれてゆく。

A POOL THAT REFLECTS THE SKIES ABOVE


A pool that reflects Taketomi’s deep blue sky stretches in the center of the resort village. It is a place where one could free the mind and relax, swim, sunbathe, or watch the millions of stars that fill the sky at night.

DISTILLING OKINAWAN HERB WATER EXPERIENCE

A wellness activity, ‘Distilling Okinawan Herb Water Experience’ takes place at the HOSHINOYA Taketomi Island lounge.
Steam distilled herbs gathered from the resort’s garden emanates a calm and gentle scent as it slowly transforms into aromatic water.

「命草ウォーター」　づくり 

施設内の「命草畑」で収穫した命草の香りが楽しめる蒸留水を作るウェルネス アクティビティ。自ら収穫したハーブの数々をポットに入れると、蒸留水が作られ、ハーブの香りが心地よくラウンジ内を包み込みはじめる。

CORAL BATH SALT MAKING

Another Wellness activity is the making of Sea water and coral infused Bath salt featuring Shell Ginger essential oil and herbs that grows on Taketomi Island. The colorful Bath salt could be used in the bathtub during your stay or it could be a perfect souvenir.

珊瑚バスソルト作り 

海水と珊瑚がブレンドされている塩でカラフルな珊瑚バスソルト作り。月桃のエッセンシャルオイルやリゾート内で収穫した何種類ものドライハーブから好みの香りをセレクトし作ったバスソルトは、滞在中のお風呂時間で癒されたリ、滞在後に竹富島の海の恵みを感じることができるアイテム。
