New Moon

I received the ‘New Moon’ treatment as the day I visited was right at the time of new moon. Period of new moon is said to be the time of rejuvenation, growth, and renewal when skin is believed to be more absorbent. Hence the treatment focus on moisturizing, replenishing and repairing the skin.

私の施術時は新月の日であったため、「新月」に適したトリートメントを体験することができました。新月には月と太陽のエネルギーがバランスを取り、完全な平衡を作り出すと言われていることから、この時期の肌は栄養素を吸収し、再生に適した状態にあります。そこで行われたのが、ボディ・フェイシャルの両方に栄養をあたえてくれる「新月」トリートメント。

The treatment took place in the ‘Mizuki Room’、a double occupancy room with dynamic city view, a shower room and a Japanese Hinoki bathtub.


今回のお部屋は、水月スパ最大のトリートメントルーム「ミズキルーム」。ダイナミックなシティビューを望み、ひのき風呂とシャワールームを備えた2人まで利用可能なお部屋。

窓越しのひのき風呂でのバスタイムの後は、フットリチュアル（足湯）のお清め。

The therapy features a relaxing, hands-on body massage ritual with the therapeutic benefits of aromatic custom-blended essential oils, followed by a Spirulina mask facial treatment featuring Rose Quartz stone. My body underwent a deep relaxing and nutrient-full treatment, that was much need for my body on a new moon.

仄かに香るアロマオイルと軽やかなリズムの心地良いマッサージでボディの血行を促進、それに続くローズクオーツストーン使用のスピルリナマスク・フェイシャルトリートメントで深いリラクゼーションをもたらし、新月にふさわしい全身の活性化をもたらしてくれる神秘的な体験をすることができました。

The high-altitude 25 meter lap pool inspired by Sumi-e (a type of ink painting) that overlooks the dynamic Tokyo city via the 7 meter tall window.

The skyscraper where the hotel is located is part of a modern office complex in the Shiodome area, above Shimbashi Station, which is South of downtown Tokyo, beside the Tokyo Bay and historical oasis of Hamarikyu Garden. The up markets of Ginza and the popular Tsukiji Fish Market are also a short walk away, while the Imperial Palace is also a very short taxi ride away.
